As mentioned in my New Year Reading Resolution I want to dedicate 2011 to expanding my book blog, reading more books and supporting Australian authors.
After stumbling across the Booklover Book Reviews site who is hosting the 2011 Aussie Author Challenge- I thought what better way to keep to on track with my resolution of reading more Australian authors!
I have joined up at the TRUE BLUE level which means my challenge is to read and review 12 Australian books from at least 9 different authors. The challenge period is between 1st January 2011- 31st December 2011.
Thankfully, my reading resolution is well and truly underway and I have already posted several Australian book reviews this year with the likes of Richard Flanagan, Rachael Treasure, Fleur McDonald and Monica McInerney. I am almost halfway there and it is only March!
I hope that I can use this challenge as a way to connect with other Australian Book Bloggers to share tips and blogging experiences!
Look forward to hearing from fellow challenge participants.
If you are interested in joining the challenge click here to go to the hosting site and find out how to sign up.
A very warm welcome to the Aussie Author Challenge! Some great titles reviewed already…
Hello,
It’s great to find an Australian review site. I have recently republished my Irish/Australian novel Brigid as an ebook and am busy blogging to publicise it. It is available through http://www.eurekahouse.com.au or I can send you a hardcopy is you would be interested in reviewing it. Check me out on my website or read my blog at http://jillblee.blogspot.com
