This is a weekly meme hosted by Jennifer at Crazy For Books
This week’s question:
“What’s the ONE GENRE that you wish you could get into, but just can’t?”
Hmm I don’t know if I want to get into it but I certainly cannot get into horror novels. I’m too much of a scaredy cat!
This is my first week with the Feature and Follow Friday, a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee
Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?
I always find these questions difficult because really, the answers are endless! Anyway, here are the three authors I narrowed it down to:
1) Jane Austen- I would love to know how she managed to complete so many LONG novels that have become all-time classics!
2) Charlaine Harris- I would love to know where she comes up with her whacky storylines and characters in the Sookie Stackhouse novels.
3) John Marsden- He’s a prolific Australian author who mainly writes YA and children’s novels. He is extremely talented and I thing he would have some interesting stories about books and writing.
Feel free to leave your answers in the comments section below and I will return the favour by stopping by your blog too!

I’m a new follower.
I’m not good with horror either.
Thanks for the follow, I have followed you back.
Hi, just hopping on by, love your blog. I like a good thriller but not too keen on loads of guts and gore, I’m more into the psychological fear. Have a great weekend.
Psychological thrillers can be great to get into, but I have to be in the mood.
Hi! Awesome picks 🙂 I chose Charlaine Harris too, I didn’t think of James Marsden but he would be awesome. New follow from a fellow Aussie 🙂
oh i can’t do horror books either…i can’t even WATCH a horror movie. I’m too much of a chicken!

Just blogging by, Happy Friday!
I have never read a horror. I just don’t think I’d be interested in them! Good choice with you 3 authors!
Here are mine http://lily-bookhaven.blogspot.com/
I’d love to meet Jane Austen, too- her books are awesome.

I refuse to read blood and gore horror. But my answer to the hop question is paranormal/fantasy just can’t get interested in them.
Jane Austen books are amazing! Prefer Christian fiction.

LOL – I usually enjoy a good horror novel, but I’ve made a vow never to read them when I’m alone in the house at night. I don’t need the nightmares!
Glad to have found you via the Hop!
Hopping through. Definitely with you on Jane. I would love to get advice for writing social satire.
My Hop
Not even Edgar Allan Poe? Since last week’s pie chart about where I get my books was so popular, I thought I’d share what types of books I do read. Please stop by to see which genres I don’t typically read.
