I am really looking forward to Miranda Darling’s series as I have recently started to get into the suspense/ thriller genre. Being Abigail is by Aussie indie author Kathryn White which I will be hosting a giveaway for when I post my review. Devoted, by Hilary Duff i am a little skeptical about, especially since I haven’t read the first book in the series!
Thank you to Misty (and Felicity Pulman) for hosting the Janna Mysteries Giveaway- it is always exciting to win new titles!
I also splurged at the local charity book fair over the weekend held by Lifeline. I picked up a bunch of titles for less than $1 each! Here’s a few I am really excited about:
BARGAINS! I love Little Women so I couldn’t resist buying a copy of the vampire take-off!
What books arrived in your mailbox this week?
Hello!
Nice to meet you =D
Your IMM is so diverese!
thanks for stopping by. I wish you a happy reading ^___^
i’d still like to read the first one by hilary duff! enjoy your books!
O I am jealous, You picked up some fab titles from Lifeline for so cheap! Tasbooklover and I were just complaining about how much our local op shops charge for 2nd books – $4-$5 each!
I enjoyed Siren’s Sting and I’ve read Beautiful Malice as well, When we have wings sounds fascinating!
I know, I am very lucky! I had been looking forward to the bookfair for months! Last year I bought about 20 books for less than $15! This year I got about half a dozen novels. My local secondhand bookstores charge around $8-$10 for most titles, but it doesn’t cost much more than that to buy at online retailers! It won’t stop me from perusing the shelves of pre-loved books though…
