Set in 12,000 BC, it follows a group of accidental explorers from west Africa who are swept across the ocean in a hurricane and find themselves facing a whole new world on the other side.
Netgalley:
I stumbled across some great rural romance titles from Aussie authors published with Penguin, I will read these in conjunction with the Australian Women Writer’s Challenge. A couple of them haven’t released covers yet so I’ve just put the link to their author page on the publisher’s website where there is info about the book.
Jacaranda by Mandy Magro
Heart of the Valley by Cathryn Hein
The Road Home by Fiona Palmer
Under Southern Skies by Rennie Anne McCullagh
And suspense story, In Her Blood by Annie Hauxwell
Reviews for these titles will be posted around the publication date over the next couple of months.
P.s- Does anyone know how to get ebooks from Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) onto a kindle? I usually send netgalley titles straight to my kindle but was only able to download them to ADE for these titles and I hoped to read them on my ereader instead of the computer.
What books arrived in your mailbox this week?
Mmm what I normally do is download them to my computer, then too adobe digital editions and if I want it on my e-reader I just connect it to my pc, and drag the file I downloaded in the beginning onto me e-reader. Might work differently with Kindle tho 🙁
Good luck!
Enjoy your books 🙂

I think you can change the format using Calibre but don’t quote me on that.
I picked up a couple of the rural lit books on Netgalley too. I haven’t read one for a number of years now.
Thanks Marg, i thought i had figured it out and managed to get them into calibre but i think there are some DRM issues and couldn’t open them on my kindle or change the formats. Looks like i’ll be reading them on my PC!
In the past year i have really gotten into the rural genre!
Looks like you got some great books this week!
I received Queen of the Night by Leeane Hall which I’m very excited to read!
