Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga @ Tynga’s Reviews.
It’s been a month since i’ve participated in this meme, so i’m just going to make this one brief. I received a bunch of July review copies from Australian publishers while I was overseas. Here’s a snapshot of what you can expect to see on the blog over the next few weeks:
I’m really looking forward to reading Boomerang Bride, this was originally published under Mills & Boon but has been re-published under Harlequin and has been on my wishlist for some time. Stormdancer is by Australian author Jay Kristoff and has been described as Japanese steam-punk!
What books have you added to your bookshelves this week?
I justby finished reading Afterwards by Rosamund Lupton. Now I am onto The Seamstress by Frances de Pontes Peebles. Have a wonderful week.
Cathy
They sound like a couple of great reads, Cathy. Thanks for stopping by.
Nice haul to come home to! I like Heather Gudenkauf and I have this one to read as well and Shadows and Stormdancer seem pretty interesting.
I’ve never read a book by Gudenkauf. I’m looking forward to Stormdancer! I’m a bit behind in reading at the moment, must get my nose stuck in a book 🙂
I have the heather Gudenkauf and Boomerang Bride too. Let me know if you are interested in doing a discussion style post or something together! It might be fun!
Also, I hadn’t seen that cover for Overseas before! I really need to read that book!
Marg, I would love to do a joint posting for one of these books! I’ve followed a couple of the discussion posts you and Bree do and it seems like a fun way to share thoughts about a book. How do we go about it?
I will email you.
Nice stack of books this week. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cover of Shadowdancer. Very rarely do I like both the UK cover and the US cover but I love them both.
