Travel Photos and Bookmark Giveaway (AU only)

These past few weeks I have been organising, sorting and printing photos from my wedding and honeymoon… it’s a big job! But as promised I’m going to share some photos that highlight our 5 week trip to Europe during May and June. There’s also a giveaway at the end of the post so be sure to check it out!

I have something a little different to offer as a giveaway. It’s not a book… but it’s definitely book related! While travelling through Europe I collected bookmarks from each of the cities we visited and have a great bundle to give away. If you’re like me and like to collect bookmarks or mix them up or have pretty pictures on them, then you’ll want to enter this!

Here’s what you’ll get:

Terms & Conditions

I’ve decided to make this giveaway for Australian residents only. My reasoning- It’s so darn far for Australians to travel anywhere overseas so hopefully these bookmarks will bring some of Europe to whoever wins!

There aren’t any bonus points for this giveaway, but if you’re on Facebook, then I’d really appreciate it if you could please stop by my page and ‘like’ it.

Giveaway ends midnight (Syd time) Sunday 21st July 2013.

To enter, please answer this question in the comment field below:

What place have you been recently  that you loved and why (can be anywhere)?

  • I would have to say Paris which will always be in my heart. The Eiffel tower looks magnificent when lit up and I would recommend climbing to all for spectacular views.

  • Well I’ve never been overseas before but the place I have been recently would be Gostford. I went to the footy stadium there and the view is so beautiful. Nice little stores aswell 🙂

  • Recently I ate a Benedictan poached egg breakfast in the Brisbane suburb of Graceville before travelling onto the Regal Twin Cinema to Farewell My Queen, based on the French novel by Chantal Thomas. Here I shared the heart of Marie Antoinette’s Reader in France during the outbreak of the French Revolution. France solidly in my heart and mind, I walked to the British tea room and sipped Buddah tea of Del Ma in California, before my yellow Deutschland Beetle and me drove home, past the rugged golden beaches of Gold Coast Queensland.

  • It’d be Singapore. I spent a few years there growing up. After leaving the island city and living in Australia for over 14 years, I get homesick from time to time Singapore is a small city but it’ll always have a big place in my heart.
p.s. I went there last year in September and I’m already feeling homesick, wanting to return there.

  • Coffs Harbour on the coast of NSW. We have been there a few times now…it is so beautiful and there’s always so much to see.

  • Fantastic giveaway, the bookmarks look awesome. Having 3 children aged 5, 3 and 1, we don’t get to venture very far for long. The last little trip we had was to Wynnum here in Brisbane where we take the children and walk along the water, have a picnic morning tea and let them play. We do this every couple of weekends to get us out and the kids.
    Thanks Lauren 🙂
