This week my mailbox was overflowing! Thanks to my lovely local postie who left a big box and two parcels on my doorstep on Friday afternoon for the whole world to see. Luckily there weren't any book thieves on the prowl and I could safely lug them into my home.Thank you to Hachette Australia for the following titles: Biting the Big Apple and Naked in Public by Bella Vendramini (as well as 5 giveaway copies for August!). Hachette also provided a copy of About Last Night by Adele Parks.I also received a review copy and 2 giveaway copies (for August also) of The Coffeeholic and the Cafe by (Australian author) Elizabeth Martin. Thank you to Boolarong Press. Other than review copies I picked up Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon from the local secondhand bookshop (because I read Cross Stitch over a year ago and thought it was about time I read book 2). I also bought the Jewel of Petersberg by Kate Furnivale for just $7.99 at QBD bookstore. This one sparked my interest as it is a russian tale and after recently reading Elisabeth Storr's The Wedding Shroud (an early rome tale) I have had my eye out for other historical romance novels in this genre. From Fishpond I purchased The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows.
