FAQs

If you haven’t worked with a content writer before, you may have some questions about what I do and how I do it. Here are some commonly asked questions:

  • Copyright is a very common question. The simple answer is: You! Once full payment is received for services provided the copyright for the content reverts to you. This means I won’t reuse or repost the information anywhere else.

  • Nope! I write lots of things. Whether you need a website rewrite, a newsletter, an email campaign, eBook or online course- I do it all. You can find the full list of my services here.

Fun fact: I write fiction too ☺

  • Because, like you, we have to pay the bills! When you hire a professional writer you get access to expert input, experience and industry knowledge. You get my 12 years psychology + 8 years freelance writing experience!

Content writing fees include: client briefings, research, planning, writing, editing (plus revisions) and proofreading. Phew! That’s a lot of value.

Compared with other Sydney content writers, my rates are mid-range.

  • Yes! I offer a VIP day service. Perfect for ad hoc writing tasks that you haven’t got around to doing (e.g. update your website, editing articles, etc) OR when you need an email marketing campaign before a product/ service launch. The benefit of booking a VIP day is that you don’t have to wait for weeks until I’m available and it’s a quicker turnover of content. This service is only available 2 days per month - book your spot today by completing my briefing form.

  • Content writing is values-based content so you’re providing the reader with value/ information. i.e. blog posts. Copywriting is a form of writing that is used for marketing purposes and compels people to take action. This includes websites, emails campaigns (welcome and sales), sales landing pages – with the goal of conversion. I.e. getting people to use your product or service.

I offer both services, either coaching you how to do it yourself, or doing it for you.

  • I ask for a 50% deposit to lock in your content writing project. The balance is payable two weeks after delivery of the first draft. Clients on a monthly retainer contract are invoiced at the end of each month.

  • Over the years I have written about all kinds of topics for all types of clients.
