No matter how amazing his “pretend” kisses are…Review: I absolutely loved this book! Sean and Emma’s chemistry is so enthralling that I could not put the book down. I read this in 24 hours and the only reason I put it down was because my eyes were burning and it was after midnight on a work night! But when I wasn’t reading it and even after I’d finished it I couldn’t get the characters out of my head.Sean and Emma pretend they are in love and getting married to put Emma’s grandmother, Cat at ease so she can go on living her life without worrying about Emma being lonely and unhappy. So when Cat comes to visit from Florida Emma and Sean who have known each other for four days move in together and fake love. Somewhere along the way they fall in love despite trying really hard not to. I know this storyline has been done before but Shannon just has this way of drawing you into the characters and the chemistry between Emma andSean is really amazing. I loved the sense of family in the Kowalski clan and it gives a good sense of history and character development for Sean. Sean has just finished a stint with the army and now wants to figure out what to do with the rest of his life until he falls into domesticity with Emma who is a landscaper and not afraid of getting her hands dirty.I didn’t realise Yours to Keep was part of the Kowalski family series, but I don't think it matters reading these out of order as there are different characters focussed on in each of these books. I will definitely be reading more of this series!
