Selia is a strong character who can fight men and stand up for herself. The different take on vampires, the Svistra, also add a unique element to the typical vampire story. Altered Destiny is about two races overcoming barriers to reach a common goal at a systemic level, but also at a personal level as Selia and the Svistra, Jaden develop feelings for each other. They have to overcome their own prejudices and follow their heart.If you enjoy historical stories with a blend of paranormal and strong heroines and relatable characters, then you will like Altered Destiny.
