Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga @ Tynga's Reviews.

Just as I started to get on top of my May review committments, the June new releases have started to arrive! For review: I received a bunch of great books from MIRA (Harlequin), courtesy of DMCPRmedia this week. I  may even have a giveaway for one of these titles next month, so fingers crossed! The Girl in the Clockwork Collar is the sequal to The Girl in the Steel Corset which I read last year and loved! Dark Kiss is a new YA paranormal series that is getting some great reviews on GR. I'm thrilled to finally get a copy of Jilted by Aussie author Rachael Johns. I was corresponding with the author months ago and have been eagerly awaiting its release. The Girl in the Clockwork Collar (Steampunk Chronicles, #2)Dark Kiss (Nightwatchers, #1)JiltedBig Sky CountryTemptation islandOrigins of LoveAnd just in time for me to read before my India trip, I received a copy of Origins of Love by Kishwar Desai from Simon & Schuster. Here's the blurb: In Delhi a small baby lies alone and abandoned. The product of IVF and surrogacy, she had been so coveted - until she was born with a fatal illness. No one knows how the infection could have been transferred to the child, but one thing is certain: no one wants her now. Thousands of miles away in London, Kate and Ben are desperate for a baby. But, despite all their efforts, fate seems to be skewed against them. Then, as Kate suffers another miscarriage, she knows something has to change. She has heard of women who are prepared to carry a baby for others, and she knows this might be a way to finally find happiness. But will her desire for a baby stop at nothing…? And between the two, feisty social worker Simran Singh is determined to uncover the truth behind the shadowy façade of the multi-million dollar surrogacy industry. Women and children are being exploited, their lives thrown away like so much dust. Is she is the only person prepared to stand up for what is right...?Virgin River (Virgin River, #1)Bought: My Fishpond order came through this week and Virgin River (#1) by Robyn Carr arrived in my letterbox. Thanks to the postman who squished it in but thankfully didn't bend the cover! Marg and Bree have recommended this series and I was eager to start it at the beginning. This one may make it into the running to stuff into my backpack for my trip :-)And if my TBR pile wasn't overflowing enough, I decided to add another 9 books to it after getting a little too excited at my local library book sale over the weekend. But who could resist books at just 50 cents each?!

What books have you added to your bookshelves this week?
