Reading hiatus...

I thought it was about time I drop a line here and let you know what I've been up to. You may (or may not!) have noticed that my blog has been a little quiet. Unfortunately I've lost my reading motivation over the past few weeks :-(I managed to catch up on all my review books about a month ago and then it was like my unconscious decided it was time for a little break and I've really had a hard time sitting down to read a book of late. I have not finished a book in the past two weeks... probably the longest time since I even started blogging. Even during my wedding planning and honeymoon I managed to read. So, it's not so much the blogging that I was having a hard time keeping up with of late, but the books.Besides my lack of motivation to read, I've been doing loads of (non-blog related) writing! To earn a little extra $$$ I've managed to pick up a few more clients as a freelancer and have been busily working away on articles and ebooks. I suppose I have been doing a lot of reading of late... it's just been of the non-fiction, reference and text book variety!I hope to get back on track in a couple of weeks, once I've got some reviews up my sleeve and to begin scheduling posts again. I really want to take some time to visit fellow bloggers, as I've been a little slack with this lately.I have two weekend trips away (one for work and one for pleasure) coming up, so I'll definitely have a print book and an ebook on hand and will likely leave my laptop at home. I'll have no excuses then!Hope to be back with some reviews soon!
