NaNoWriMo 2014 Week #4- WINNER!

Wow. What a whirlwind month... but I made it! I tipped over the 50,000 word count today and had it validated by the NaNoWriMo website.Word Count= 50,010 wordsI'm so excited to have got a huge chunk of my novel underway this month. The challenge really helped me to focus, make writing part of my daily routine and move forward with the manuscript. Even on those days when I felt completely uncreative, I still managed to get words down and outline a scene- even though many will need to be further fleshed out or completely re-written.But that's okay. I know where I want my story to go, I know how the plot unfolds and how my characters grow.The journey doesn't end here though! There's that mammoth task of editing that I will need to undertake. I'm going to give myself a little break during December and then get underway with the edits in the new year.In the meantime I have several reviews to write that I'll post over the coming weeks.
