Val gave her word to the New Blood Movement that she would work for them until the Encyclopaedia Magicka is located. New guy Trevor comes on the scene and while everyone seems to think he is awesome, Val is less than convinced.Val's relationship with boyfriend and shadow demon Shade becomes more intense and she comes to a point where she must make a big decision. If she loses her virginity then she will also lose everything that makes her Val- super strength, speed and the ability to slay vampires!I liked Fang Me the least from the Demon Underground series. I think it was a combination of the teenage virginity issues, her too good to be true relationship with Shade and Dan being pretty much wiped out of the series (he plays a minor role at the end). It may have just been the mood I was in when I read it but I seemed to notice that Val was a teenager more so than the other two novels- perhaps her voice sounded younger or I was just more privy to it this time around. Nevertheless, there's plenty of spins and action in this series that I more than likely will read the next in the series when it is released.
