Feature & Follow Friday #27
Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read
Q: What would your prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?
I don't think i would want to read a book i love until i am sick of it... because then I probably wouldn't love it anymore. A good book sticks in your mind for a long time, the characters infiltrate your dreams and you wonder what is next for them once you finish reading it. In this scenario, i think i would prefer to read 100 books that were mediocre because it would test my loyalty to my favourite and if they were really so mediocre, then i would appreciate the favourite all the more. I'm being a little vague about 'my favourite' because i don't think i could narrow down to just one book. I also don't often re-read books, it's rare for me to do that unless it's a classic. There's just too many more books out there to discover!
